Wright-Dixon realised the need to have a high quality white metal bearing available where it counts. An in-house facility was started and quickly grew into a business
of its own right. The specialised nature of our white metal bearing business allows us to provide a very competitive and high quality product.

Our bearing business is geared to quick turn-around time and break down services form a large percentage of our business. Casting of white metal is done at controlled temperatures. Only virgin white metal of selected grades are utilised. White metal grades are chosen to suit the bearing application. These qualities and our stringent quality requirements allow us to provide a unique service to the South African industry.

The involvement of Wright-Dixon in field servicing of large turbo machinery, including steam turbines, pumps compressors and other related units. This experience allows us to provide an additional service to bearing manufacturing. Not only do we provide the manufactured bearings and on-site inspection but bearings can be fitted and aligned by us where required.
