Power Generation

Power generation is a core part of our business. Our ability to send installation teams all over Africa and even further away, places us in the ideal position to install power generation equipment for a wide range of industrial clients.  Experience gained over the years enable us to provide a turnkey solution to the client. Our fields of expertise is includes primarily Steam turbines, Diesel power generation, including diesel and HFO operation as well as Hydro power.

Our international network allows us to be able to source used steam turbo alternators and low speed diesel generators. These units are normally relocated, refurbished and installed as a turn key project for clients. The use of refurbished equipment gives an advantage to the client in terms of reduced capital costs and in many cases a shorten project time.

Hydro powered generators are normally designed for a specific site due to the big variation in operating conditions from site to site. Our hydro market is typically larger than 500 kW to be economical viable. The Hydro technology is provided by our French partner HPP.

High speed diesel generators are matched to the specific requirements of the client and are normally supplied as new generators powered by one of the well known engine manufacturers. Engine selection is based on output requirements. Our Genline range is selected for reliability at competitive prices.
